Privacy policy

What we collect, and why

• Your account: email address, username and password (stored only as a salted hash), to sign you in and to write to you about your account.
• Your games: titles, descriptions, files, every saved version and the results of our automated tests, to host, preview, publish and let you change them.
• What you do on Goosigo: plays, scores, saves, likes, comments, follows, friends, messages between friends, reports and in-game coin balances, to run those features.
• Clips: a moment of a game you choose to save, and short trailers we record from published games, to show them in the feed.
• Connected AI apps: the app’s name, when you connected it and its access tokens (stored only as hashes), so it can act for you and you can disconnect it.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, for security, abuse prevention and rate limits; and which clips you watch, to choose your feed.

We collect this because you use the service (performance of our contract with you), to keep it safe (our legitimate interest), and where the law requires it, with your consent.

What a connected AI app sends us

When you connect an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude, Goosigo receives only what that app sends in its requests to Goosigo, for example the game it wrote and the title it chose. Goosigo does not receive your conversation with the app.

Who can see it, and who we share it with

• Everyone, when you publish: a published game, its title and description, your username, plays, likes, comments and clips are public. Drafts are private; a preview link opens one draft version for anyone holding the link, for 7 days.
• Your friends: your messages to them, and whether you are online.
• Service providers who run parts of Goosigo for us and only on our instructions: Google Cloud (hosting, Belgium), Amazon Web Services (storing and delivering clips and covers), Resend (sending account emails), Cloudflare (DNS) and Microsoft Azure OpenAI (only when Goosigo’s own builder makes a game you asked for).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside Türkiye, in the European Union and the United States. These transfers are made under Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, for people in the EU, Chapter V of the GDPR, on the basis of standard contractual clauses or your explicit consent where it is required. We do not sell personal data, and Goosigo uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

• Your account, games, clips and messages: until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Deleted data is removed from our backups within 30 days.
• Which clips you watched, for your feed: 30 days.
• Server request logs: at most 90 days.
• Sign-in tokens of connected AI apps: an access token lasts 1 hour, a refresh token 60 days, and both end at once when you disconnect the app.

Your rights

You can ask to know whether we process your data, to see it, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive it, to know who we shared it with, and to object to its processing (KVKK Article 11; GDPR Articles 15 to 22). Write to accounts@goosigo.com and we will answer within 30 days. You can disconnect an AI app at any time in Settings, under Connected AI apps, and delete your games on your profile.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority of Türkiye (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) or, in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

Cookies and storage on your device

A sign-in cookie (goosigo_session) keeps you signed in. Your device also keeps your theme, language, recent searches and, if you turn it on, the last moments of the game you are playing so you can save one. None of these are used for advertising.

Age

Goosigo is for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, use Goosigo with the permission of a parent or guardian. Goosigo is not directed to children under 13, and we delete an account we learn belongs to one.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the date below. If a change matters for how we use your data, we will let you know before it applies.
